Hallo zusammen,

es gibt eine Freudige Mitteilung die uns das iPhone Dev Team heute morgen bekannt gab. Es gibt ab heute morgen einen iPhone 3G Unlock mit Firmware 3.0.

Das ganze geht wie folgt:

Ensure you have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0
Jailbreak your iPhone 3G using redsn0w or PwnageTool (this will also install Cydia/Icy)
Run Cydia or Icy
Please add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia or icy
Search for ‘ultrasn0w’ in cydia or icy and install ultrasn0w
Reboot your iPhone 3G
T-Mobile USA users should disable 3G before using ultrasn0w

per Twitter wurden wir heute bereits darauf hingewiesen das der Jailbreak per Pwnage u. QuickPWN für die kommende FW 3.0 fast fertig ist und warscheinlich zur Eröffentlichung am Mittwoch erscheinen wird.

Beim Unlock sieht es genauso aus die neue Version von Yellowsn0w steckt bereits in Beta fast und vielleicht überrascht uns ja das Dev Team bereits um Mittwoch mit einem Release!

InstallerApp Release – RipDev Team

Das RipDev Team hat es geschafft, installerApp steht für MAC OSX (Windows coming soon) zum downlaod berreit. Die Desktoplösung zur Installation von 3rd Party Apps die bis jetzt über Cydia od. Installer bezogen wurden. Suchen, Installieren sowie Updates alles wird angezeigt und mittels USB aufs iPhone gesynct (so wie bei iTunes auch).

Interessant für Leute ohne Wlan (ja die gibt es noch) oder ohne Flat. Weiters ist mit Sicherheit ein Positiver Vorteil des Apps das vermutlich (noch nicht getestet) sich die Apps nach einer Wiederherstellung bzw. nach Update/Jailbreak einfach wieder drauf Sync lassen. Somit wäre das ewige Neuinstallieren nicht mehr nötig.

Wie schon damals berichtet, werden CrackApp Sources keinen Zugang zu dem System erhalten. Des Weiteren ist die Benutzung mit Jailbroken iPhones sowie ohne Jailbreak (via Pusher) möglich.

Die Applikation kostet 7$ (für 3 Lizenzen)

iPhone 3.0 Jailbreak Video

Das 3.0 den Jailbreak erlauben, oder besser nicht verhindern könnte, war ja schon vorher klar und das hat das Dev Team ja bereits bestätigt gehabt

Nun ist ein erster Video eines Jailbroken Devices mit 3.0 aufgetaucht.

abs298 von iPodtouchfans hat seinen iPod Touch scheibar auf 3.0 aktualisiert und das Bootlogo verändert.

Im Video wird sowohl der Start gezeigt, als auch die Spotlight suche. Ein Fake ist somit unwahrscheinlich, aber dennoch natürlich nicht ausgeschlossen.

Anleitungen wurden bis jetzt noch nicht veröffentlicht, wir werden euch aber wie immer auf dem laufenden halten =)

Nach der gestrigen Präsentation hat sich das Dev-Team gleich mal die neue FW 3.0 Beta angesehen und verkündet das es keine Probleme mit dem Jailbreak und Unlock geben wird. Apple hat anscheinend keine relevanten Sicherheitslücken geschlossen.

“With all of the great stuff lined up for us with the 3.0 OS that Apple described today, many 3G owners may find themselves with itchy update fingers. If you find yourself with access to the 3G IPSW for 3.0 via the iPhone Dev Center program, and you are using yellowsn0w, do not update or restore to that official IPSW. You will lose yellowsn0w and find yourself unable to revert the baseband to get it back.

And for those wondering, yes the 3.0 OS is jailbreakable on all devices. It’s just those using 3G yellowsn0w that have to show some restraint and wait for PwnageTool to create a custom IPSW that avoids the baseband update“

InstallerApp – RipDev

Das RipDev will einen drauf legen und soll eine Desktoplösung zur App installation Planen. InstallerApp soll sowohl Installer- als auch Cydiarepo´s beinhalten. Noch nicht bekannt ist ob es auch ein Support für iPhones “ohne Jailbreak” geben wird. Die Möglichkeit mittels “Pusher” der in InstallerApp enthalten werden soll wäre da.

InstallerApp soll die alternative zu AppStore und Cydia Store sein und der Benutzung iTunes ähneln. Apps SUCHEN/INSTALLIEREN/UPDATE ANZIEGE sollen integriert werden. “CrackApp Sources” sollen unterbunden werden und haben keinen Zugriff auf das Programm.

Erscheinungtermin seitens RipDev gibt es noch keinen.

Hmmm,
hat “ichhabekeine” doch eine Lösung für das Problem,
das man bei den neuen Mac´s mit Darwin 9.5.1
nicht in den iPhone DFU-Modus kommt gefunden ?
Ok, in den DFU bekommt man das iPhone.
Aber er wird/wurde von iTunes nicht mehr erkannt.
Ist ein simpler USB-Hub die Lösung ?

Linux on the iPhone!
I’m pleased to announce that the Linux 2.6 kernel has been ported to Apple’s iPhone platform,
with support for the first and second generation iPhones as well as the first generation iPod touch.
This is a rough first draft of the port, and many drivers are still missing, but it’s enough
that a real alternative operating system is running on the iPhone.

What we have:

- Framebuffer driver
- Serial driver
- Serial over USB driver
- Interrupts, MMU, clock, etc.

What we don’t have (yet!):

- Write support for the NAND
- Wireless networking
- Touchscreen
- Sound
- Accelerometer
- Baseband support

WinPwn 2.5 in Arbeit

Wie jetzt bekannt wurde, wird bereits schon wieder an einer neuen Version von WinPwn getüftelt. WinPwn 2.5 soll dann benutzerfreundlicher gestaltet sein, um so mit noch mehr User für sich zu gewinnen.

Update: Just to clear up some confusion over what this actually does: yes, it jailbreaks and unlocks older iPhones, and jailbreaks iPhone 3Gs and iPod Touches. We only support the 2.0 firmwares.
