Smiles for iPhone offers Hours of Fun

In this video, I review an addictive game for the iPhone called Smiles. Chris Pirillo of http://chris.pirillo.com and http://youtube.com/lockergnome was nice enough to allow me to review this game for him. Smiles is actually two games in one. It is offered on the iTunes App Store for .99 and includes 3 game modes: Zen, Drop, and Avalanche. You can also purchase the Zen and Drop modes as separate games for .99. After playing the game for a few hours (they go by fast), I found the “Drop” mode to be my favorite. It reminded me of Bejeweled but with a nice twist. As you match 3 similar shapes on the screen, they disappear, and the ones above it “drop”, hence the name, Drop. Smiles also offers achievements to give you something to shoot for. DFU-Modus beim neuen MacBook doch möglich ?
Hmmm,
hat “ichhabekeine” doch eine Lösung für das Problem,
das man bei den neuen Mac´s mit Darwin 9.5.1
nicht in den iPhone DFU-Modus kommt gefunden ?
Ok, in den DFU bekommt man das iPhone.
Aber er wird/wurde von iTunes nicht mehr erkannt.
Ist ein simpler USB-Hub die Lösung ?

Linux on the iPhone!
I’m pleased to announce that the Linux 2.6 kernel has been ported to Apple’s iPhone platform,
with support for the first and second generation iPhones as well as the first generation iPod touch.
This is a rough first draft of the port, and many drivers are still missing, but it’s enough
that a real alternative operating system is running on the iPhone.What we have:
- Framebuffer driver
- Serial driver
- Serial over USB driver
- Interrupts, MMU, clock, etc.What we don’t have (yet!):
- Write support for the NAND
- Wireless networking
- Touchscreen
- Sound
- Accelerometer
- Baseband support
